As a mental health therapist and nutritionist with an integrative mind-body approach to health and wellbeing, I offer a non-pathologizing and compassionate perspective to the human experience, where our symptoms and challenges make sense within the context of our life history.
My goal is to connect you to your own internal healing resources and sense of resilience, enabling you to resolve long-standing barriers to a joyful, meaningful life.
I integrate EMDR, IFS, and NARM therapy, as they are preeminent, accelerated psychotherapies, resulting in immediate, rapid relief, often within the first few sessions.
As a former DBT group facilitator, I also provide skills to improve emotional regulation, distress tolerance, mindfulness, and interpersonal effectiveness. Many of my clients are able to enjoy shorter treatment durations.
I earned my B.A. in Health Studies from the University of Washington and completed my M.S. in Nutrition and Clinical Health Psychology from Bastyr University. In Washington State, I am a Licensed Nutritionist and Licensed Mental Health Counselor.
I am a member of the EMDR International Association, the Association for Contextual Behavioral Science, and the American Counseling Association. Off-hours I enjoy writing music, weightlifting, martial arts, and outdoor life in the PNW.
